Two of my short stories have recently been accepted.
“Eagles Rising,” a mystery featuring the remarkable voice of Guy Blanc, a cousin of Guy Noir (for Garrison Keillor fans), will appear in Palo Alto Review.
“The Visitor,” a literary story in which a father struggles with the guilt he feels for his daughter’s near fatal automobile accident, has just appeared in The Chariton Review.
Once these stories are in print, I should be able to post them on this site. Hard copies, of course, will be available from the journals, and I encourage purchasing copies. These journals are virtually the only viable places where short stories are published these days with the exception of the very few commercial magazines, and the journals always need financial support to continue providing their valuable service to both writers and readers.
